StudentSlips Terms of Use and Liability Release By creating an account and using StudentSlips, you agree to the following terms on behalf of yourself and, if applicable, the church, school, ministry, childcare program, organization, leaders, staff, volunteers, parents, guardians, students, children, participants, and other users who use this service under your account. 1. Purpose of StudentSlips StudentSlips is provided as a support tool to help churches, schools, ministries, childcare programs, youth organizations, and similar organizations create, collect, view, and manage permission slips, event information, participant details, medical and emergency contact information, media permissions, and related communications. StudentSlips is intended only for lawful, appropriate, organization-related use by churches, schools, Christian schools, public schools, private schools, daycares, ministries, youth programs, childcare programs, and similar organizations serving children, students, youth, families, or participants. 2. Organization Responsibility Each church, school, ministry, childcare program, or organization is responsible for the events, activities, leaders, staff, teachers, volunteers, parents, guardians, students, children, participants, information, communications, permission slip wording, medical information handling, supervision, safety practices, transportation, background checks, legal compliance, and decisions connected to its use of StudentSlips. StudentSlips does not supervise, manage, approve, operate, or assume responsibility for any event, activity, leader, staff member, teacher, volunteer, parent, guardian, student, child, participant, organization, school, church, ministry, or childcare program using the service. 3. Permission Slip and Legal Responsibility StudentSlips provides tools that allow organizations to create and collect permission slips and related information. Each organization is responsible for reviewing its own permission slip language, release language, privacy practices, consent requirements, child-safety requirements, recordkeeping requirements, and legal obligations. StudentSlips, SermonSlips, GoGospelNow, and Ken Schultz do not provide legal advice and do not guarantee that any permission slip, release, form, email, message, report, or other content created through the site satisfies the legal, insurance, denominational, educational, childcare, child-safety, privacy, health, medical, transportation, or policy requirements of any church, school, ministry, organization, state, or jurisdiction. Organizations should consult their own legal counsel, insurance provider, school administration, denominational leadership, licensing authority, childcare regulator, or appropriate advisors before relying on any form, release language, or process. 4. Release of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree that StudentSlips, SermonSlips, GoGospelNow, Ken Schultz, and any related owners, developers, administrators, volunteers, agents, or affiliates shall not be liable for any claims, losses, damages, injuries, liabilities, expenses, legal fees, data loss, service interruption, misuse of information, unauthorized access, event-related incidents, or other harm arising from or related to use of the site; inability to use the site; events, activities, trips, programs, classes, or childcare activities; permission slips or release forms; communications sent through the site; information entered by organizations, leaders, staff, teachers, volunteers, parents, guardians, students, children, or participants; decisions made by churches, schools, ministries, childcare programs, organizations, leaders, staff, teachers, volunteers, parents, or guardians; supervision, transportation, safety, medical, disciplinary, emergency, or child-care decisions; or any misuse or unauthorized use of the service. Each organization accepts full responsibility for its own use of StudentSlips and for the people, events, information, compliance obligations, and decisions connected to that use. 5. Parent, Student, Child, and Participant Information Organizations are responsible for obtaining appropriate consent from parents, guardians, students, children, and participants before collecting, storing, or using personal, medical, emergency contact, transportation, media permission, or other sensitive information through StudentSlips. Organizations are also responsible for determining who should have access to that information and for protecting it appropriately. 6. Appropriate Use You agree not to use StudentSlips for any unlawful, abusive, harmful, deceptive, harassing, exploitative, fraudulent, immoral, or inappropriate purpose, or for any purpose inconsistent with the intended purpose of the site. You also agree not to upload, send, store, or distribute content that is unlawful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, sexually explicit, discriminatory, hateful, invasive of privacy, malicious, spam-related, or otherwise inappropriate. 7. Account Suspension or Revocation StudentSlips reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or revoke access to the site, without prior notice, for any church, school, ministry, childcare program, organization, leader, staff member, teacher, volunteer, user, parent, guardian, student, child, participant, or account that abuses the site; misuses the service; violates these terms; uses the site for purposes not aligned with its intended purpose; attempts unauthorized access; compromises safety, privacy, security, or trust; or creates legal, reputational, technical, or operational risk for StudentSlips, SermonSlips, GoGospelNow, Ken Schultz, or other users. StudentSlips may also remove content, disable features, or terminate accounts when necessary to protect the service, users, organizations, churches, schools, families, children, students, participants, or the broader intended purpose of the site. 8. No Warranty StudentSlips is provided “as is” and “as available.” StudentSlips, SermonSlips, GoGospelNow, and Ken Schultz make no warranties or guarantees that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, legally sufficient, secure, available at all times, or suitable for every church, school, ministry, childcare program, event, organization, or situation. 9. Agreement By checking the agreement box and creating an account, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Use and Liability Release. You also confirm that you are authorized to create an account on behalf of your church, school, ministry, childcare program, or organization and to accept these terms for your use of the service.
